About Us
A Note from KarenOur dog Sasha has always had strange eating habits. She would go on binges where she ate shoe laces, her bedding, even the strings on my apron. One night she ate the cover off a leather-bound bible while my husband and I were at the movies. That little escapade racked up over $400 in vet bills but we found out what her problem was - irritable bowel syndrome. After that, I began searching for foods that would not upset her sensitive system. I also started making treats for her. I was able to control what went into them, adding herbs that have long been used medicinally, and I found that all of our dogs really enjoyed them. A couple of years ago, I was given the opportunity to participate in a craft fair to raise funds for my church bell choir. Not being very "crafty", I decided to make up some of my treats and sell those. Afterwards, people started asking if they could get more. Then they began sharing them with their friends and giving them as gifts. As I started getting more requests, my family began to encourage me to turn it into a business. The rest is history. I have always enjoyed baking for family and friends. Extending that to my dogs was only natural. After all, they are an important part of our families too. I trust that your dogs will enjoy our treats as much as mine do.
Why Choose Our Treats? As a fellow dog lover, I know how much our dogs add to our lives. With all the recent issues involving products made in foreign countries, we strive to find ingredients that are made in the US. We also look for ingredients that contain no by-products or fillers.
